The lieutenant governor will certify the initiative after the remaining signatures have been counted. Once that happens, Alaskans will officially have the opportunity to vote on whether to end marijuana prohibition this August.

  1. Ola! Blog,
I take your point, I would wager a ton of income that it would enable. Liquor results in big troubles where by lawful weed would by far lessen assaults and other alcohol connected problems. Also by remaining lawful, there would not be any drug dealers or a black current market. What do you imagine?
I look forward to your next post

  2. Who are the “drug dealers”?
    What is dope?
What is the most deadly dope?
Tobacco is responsible for the premature and totally avoidable deaths of hundreds of thousands of people each year in The United States of America…and it’s as legal as it is lethal.
On the opposite hand, cannabis has been responsible for no provable human disease or death…not one, not ever…
    Who are the “dope pushers”?…eh?

    Eric K. Johnson

  3. Mr. Obama ,
Tear down this industrialized prohibition complex! The so-called “War on Drugs”(mostly a war on cannabis) recreated a new slave “Prison Plantation” hidden behind razor wire fences with armed overseer’s towers…filled with the descendants of the slaves who came before them…more’s the pity!
The War on Drugs is a War on the Citizens of The United States of America.
Stop it!…in the name of Justice?
