Md.: Ask Gov. Moore to sign legislation to protect fire and rescue workers who use medical cannabis!

Great news! The Maryland legislature has passed SB 439. This bill, if signed into law by the governor, would protect fire and rescue workers who use medical cannabis! We are grateful to the bill’s sponsor, Sen. Carl Jackson, for putting forth this bill. 

First responders put their lives on the line for us daily, and many develop chronic pain or PTSD from their public service. They should not lose their jobs for alleviating their symptoms with a safer alternative to opiates.
