Massachusetts Legislature passes bill to increase possession limits!

Massachusetts legalized cannabis nearly a decade ago, but its possession limits have remained unreasonably low. H. 5350 would finally fix that.

H. 5350 would increase the amount of cannabis adults can legally possess from one ounce to two ounces, bringing Massachusetts more in line with other legalization states and reducing unnecessary legal risks for responsible adults. 

It would also make other modernizations to Massachusetts’ cannabis laws, including reducing the number of commissioners from five to three.

H. 5350 has passed the legislature and is now headed to Gov. Maura Healey.
