Let’s make 2026 the year PA legalizes cannabis!

Pennsylvania is lagging behind its neighbors as it continues to ruin vast numbers of lives with criminal charges over a plant that is safer than alcohol. Last year, authorities in the Keystone State made more than 11,000 cannabis arrests, including over 10,000 for possession!

Pennsylvania has a real chance to finally legalize cannabis this year, but it’s crucial that supporters mobilize!

For the first time ever, Pennsylvania’s House of Representatives passed a legalization bill last year — albeit one that had a problematic state-run stores provision. And bipartisan bills are pending in both the House and the Senate to legalize cannabis with a more workable approach.

With the Commonwealth facing a structural deficit, and painful choices to address it, legalization should be a no-brainer. It’s popular, it expands freedom, and it would generate hundreds of millions in annual tax revenue that is currently flowing across state lines.

If you live in Pennsylvania, sign up to get more engaged in the campaign to legalize cannabis. Let us know if you’re up for submitting letters to the editor, calling or meeting with your state legislators, volunteering, or otherwise getting involved. And in the meantime, send a quick note to your state legislators to let them know it’s time to legalize it
