Did you mean Breakthrough?, rather than Breathrough?

Indeed, a media breakthrough.

Once again exposure is on our side. Getting the message out there is the most important thing.

Legalize Drugs.
Educate our children on the dangers of drugs and addiction.
Provide health care for addicts and the like.
Allow responsible Americans their Constitutional rights.
Incarcerate the irresponsible.
Tax and collect the ridiculous revenues.

Illegality doesn’t stop use.

Thanks for all your hard work MPP.

I like Jack Cafferty and I’m glad he chose not to laugh.

To Everyone,
Posting your feelings here is nice, but we already agree with each other. We MUST contact our politicians and the people who don’t agree with us, otherwise, it’s just preachin’ to the choir.
They won’t know if we don’t tell ‘em.

Please contact Mr. Cafferty and express your gratitude for illuminating this issue. And urge him to be more open and discuss this topic on the air! http://www.cnn.com/feedback/forms/form5t.html

More and more people are saying yes!
Why is the Gov’t still “Just say No”?

prohibition did not work on alcohol, and it will not work with drugs. We know that they understand this and that is what is so sad.The POL, can lie but we see it in their eyes.

What if as part of that contact, we mention a Personal Use and Cultivation Permit
12 plants
$100 per year
Split between the Fed and the participating States
It’s time to put the drug dealers out of business.
It’s time to let ordinary Americans grow a little marijuana in their own back yards.

Jack Cafferty deserves a handshake and a high five.

Insight via history my MPP friends, taking a closer look into who supported prohibition in the early 20th Century against alchoholic drinks, it was women’s organizations and clergy ranting about the woes of substance abuse. Very little has changed today since that time period. There’s been suggestion after suggestion to contact your government leaders and that’s great but your still not targeting the root of today’s prohibtion, women and churches. These two groups alone account for a large perentage of promised votes to politicians. If you’ve got the smarts to contact your government leaders then go one more step and figure out how to assist your community to understand that this is a personal choice and be prepared to face off with church clergy and their members as well as women’s organizations who are the real fuel in supporting politicians. I don’t need a MOTHER FIGURE to make decisions for what I think is best for my own life and if churches don’t accept and love you now just as you are, I think that attitude is a misrepresentation of our true and living God in heaven. Put yourself in God’s position for just a moment for this example. Would you love your adult children any less if you knew they smoked marijuana for any reason? The bottom line is very personal and individualized for each and every user of marijuana but the fact is that God did put marijuana on the earth to be used for your own benefit when needed. Anyone that blocks the heavenly right to freely choose marijuana and it’s by products such as medicines is playing Russian Rullette with God’s plan. The great United States Government doesn’t stand a chance of standing between God and his people. Cheat the devil again and pray for assistance in your fight for your God given right to use marijuana as you see fit in your own life. The gift is ours and we’re taking it back sooner or later.

The more media attention (positive media attention) the closer we are to ending a ridiculous prohibition

can someone post this video? i would luv to see it.

If he keeps this up they will probably cancel his show. I hope this dosen’t happen. What happened to D.L. He looked fairly young and happy about what he was doing on his shows. The more media exposure the better. But remember there are about five major news medias excluding the public funded ones. They have to allow this to happen and let their news people speak freely and question, why. This didn’t happen much under the bush administration probably because people were afraid his administration would put them on his naughty list. Things seem alittle less tense under the obama administration. I hope this continues.

The more coverage the better.
I would like to encourage everybody to write letters to editors of your local papers. I was suprised at the letters of retort to mine, and the calls from folks that actually read it. I have also written to local news requesting some kind of coverage of the Mass. bills to legalize and tax Marijuana, but there hasn’t been any news at all about this one. It will never pass if nobody knows “They” are even considering it in a proper fashion.
I wonder if stacks of postcards in the Whitehouse mail April 20th will get any interest from the news. Lets find out!!

PEACE to all

How long have we been saying we are making a breakthrough? How many times have we said that we are almost there? When will we really get to smoke without getting in trouble? MPP, if it did get legalized wouldn’t the organization fall? Would there be no more MPP? We the people are just talking, we need to do more. People just get on MPP and see what progress there is and try to claim it as theirs too. We the people need to fight for our rights. I know know about fight for rights and freedoms. I fought for 2 years in iraq, if i fight i want to fight for ALL freedoms. Marijuana is one of them i fight for, why am i not receiving it. Is MPP making commercials? Is there a way we can see where our donations go?

The biggest problem facing marijuana reform is people simply expect instant gratification. It takes many years folks or you can move to a State where it’s legal now at least by State Laws like California. Otherwise, suck it up and fight for your rights. I’m tired of the crap myself. No one hates war more than experienced Veteran warriors.

Bruce & MPP,

Though you may already be informed, recently in Florida there has been some good news for both patients of Florida who should be able to utilize the benefits of medical marijuana, as well as the larger community who suffers from the drug war propaganda that has allowed good people to be imprisoned.
I am writing because I want to see larger organizations spreading the word about this campaign in Florida. Our state needs informed citizens to take part in this campaign. We need truth and knowledge to spread so that our opressive laws can be changed for the better. We need justice, not condemnation and ridicule. With a majority of the state calling for medical marijuana in 1997, the numbers have, i assure you, increased. I would be willing to bet 70% of Floridians would vote to decrim. and permit the medical use of marijuana. The politicians have other ideas, and we need to rally support.

Information on the FLORIDA campaing that seeks to allow the medical use of marijuana, can be found at http://www.pfmm.org/

I have been sending out emails and talking about it like crazy…and hope to see the news spread to the larger org’s. like MPP, NORML and LEAP, to help spread the word.

why can we not uprise? we the people made this dam country. we the people are the ones that fight for this country when called upon. we the people are the ones bailing out the economy. we the people should go to DC and NOT LEAVE until we the people have the laws that WE THE PEOPLE have the right to have…We the people…not we the government

Logan 9 – thank you for the link. We need to band together and help and encourage each other. Thanks are due.

Three talking points to keep in front of news people or politicians:
1) Between the money spent on finding, arresting, prosecuting, and locking up marijuana users AND the lost opportunity for tax revenue on the individual’s purchase of this widely used product, our national pocketbook is losing out on tens of billions of dollars every year.
2) To collect taxes from the grow-your-own community, we could consider a $100 per year permit for a dozen plants, splitting the proceeds between the Federal government and the participating State(s).
3) It’s time to put the criminal drug dealers out of business and let ordinary Americans pay a fee to grow a little marijuana in their own back yards.

has anyone noticed that in the comment section under the articles that support legalization, the opponents don’t seem to understand the concept of regulation….the posts sound as if they believe we are calling for an anarchistic drug use free for all in the streets wich will lead to a murderous orgy of rape , robbing and pillaging?? We almost already have that due to the lack of regulation…..not so much by the users themselves but those who run the trade.

We need help in Pennsylvania also. We have a rep introducing a bill in the house in the coming weeks. So any one in PA please right your reps asap. Get the word out to your friends and any one who will listen. call your local papers and radio stations, do anything to get this out. Get the truth out there. The truth and our will can set this in motion and keep the ball rolling.
Thanks, Andy

I don’t care what the media thinks about weed and how much they approve of it. They just come up with an ocasional pro marijuana, to shut up whoever is asking for their rights to be heard . and BTW they’re not so pro marijuana they use vague words and always have a disapointed look in their face.

Here in CT our Gov. vetoed a bill to allow the use of marijuana for medicinal purposes. With all the evidence proving it’s benefits, I think it’s criminal to deny patients the only natural medicine that helps.

CT also has a decrim. law moving through the gold dome. I will be very happy if this passes. (campfire at my house) For those of you who already have a decrim. law…has anything changed?

I call for all the MJ supporters to stop using household drugs like Tylenol, Advil, etc. Use your natural medicine and bury these criminals. Unfortunately they would probably receive “bailout” or “money that now allows the govt. to control your business” money.
