Let me belatedly answer JJ (#11): To quote a famous phrase, "If nominated, I will not run. If elected, I will not serve." I would, however, consider accepting the position of Drug Czar in a Cohen administration.

For sure Cohen did a great thing standing up to Mueller and telling Mueller in so many words that the gateway theory is a bunch of faulty logic and misleading lies, but the bigger story, in my opinion is that the FBI Director lied to Congress.

What was his lie? Let me quote him:

“I think anybody who looks at this problem considers it [legalization]. And ultimately when you look at it [legalization] rejects it.”

Beyond a shadow of a doubt, Mueller, and many other Drug Warriors know of many, many people who have studied legalizing marijuana and said, “Do it now,” “Do it yesterday,” “What’s the hold up?” “It’s unconstitutional for it to be illegal!” “We can strip the black market cartels of much of their income and power,” and many similar findings. And not just “little people” like myself, but people who are famous due to their accomplishments.

This is perjury as best I can tell. Since when are people not supposed to tell the truth to Congress?

FBI Director Mueller Perjures Congress, “Everybody Rejects It [Legalization of Marijuana]”

Down with the Drug Warrior Perjurers!

The only just thing to do is to fire him and put someone else in his place who doesn’t go along with all the dumb Drug War lies and propaganda!

Prohibitionists react to truth like vampires react to sunlight. The difference is the horrific, counter-productive damage prohibitionists inflict is all too real.

I am from Tennessee. I find myself disappointed by our politicians more than I am satisfied, particularly, on most of the progressive issues. Go Cohen! That was great; so true. I will definitely circulate this.
