I knew a Robert Vetter in Germany years ago -- but not my reason for responding now, however. There are millions of us here in this land (world) that see laws terribly wrong as regards marijuana in general, and for that reason they need to be changed. They should never have existed. Would we also agree to the use of sugar to be an enforceable prison offense simply because there might be laws someday created that says it's so. It's absolute stupidity to treat marijuana as if it is something harmful that we need big government's special interest to control what 'they think' to be our best interest as regards same. Some of us out here are adults and would much appreciate being treated as one. Please change the laws regarding this innocent drug of choice, and make its use and possession completely legal; the laws as such do not serve the public good by any shape or form. This is a Human Rights issue, no question about it.

When Our new president decides to show favor to the Medical Marijuana community, he understands that he will be Marrying Federal and State Law at the same time for all 50 States. He has to make this look good and economical at the same time. As a medical Marijuana Patient, I look forward to being able to get my Marijuana from the V. A. All Patients who can benefit from Marijuana as Medicine should get their Medicine before Casual consumers are allowed to get theirs. That is my take on the situation. If on the other hand, the Prohibition of Marijuana is repealed and Marijuana is then taxed and regulated and sold at pharmacy's all over this great country of ours, then I will shout "Thank you God!!! America's just grown a brain!!!".
