Nancy Pelosi Tells Users at Digg.com to Push for Medical Marijuana
Speaker Nancy Pelosi answered questions yesterday submitted via the popular social news Web site, Digg.com. Digg user adroit asked Pelosi, “[a]s a taxable resource, what stops marijuana from being legalized, for medicinal or recreational purposes, throughout the country?”
“I myself have supported medicinal use of marijuana over and over again … there just isn’t enough support for it,” said Speaker Pelosi. She then called on the public to help raise awareness about the issue, saying, “We need people’s help to be in touch with their members of Congress to say why [medical marijuana] should be the case.”

It’s good to hear that she is so adamant about passing medical marijuana laws. I was totally unaware that she felt this way about this issue.
Sounds like our issue made a little noise at the convention this year as well. I was even told a big banner with the message of “Re-Legalize” made it on MSNBC.
I hope we continue with this momentum heading into our big vote on proposal 1 here in MI.
Forget about passing medical marijuana laws, Do as CANADA has make a pill that does all that marijuana does and have the doctor prescribe it, no problems that way..
if you beleve in God you should know this This is true and even the Bible talks of it and it also talks of alcohol but tobacco is not an Herb so it does not speak of it for instance (1 Corinthians 6 :1 Says know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with men, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor DRUNKARDS, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.Just so you know I don’t judge I only live for God I don’t smoke anymore but I do know people who do and they live for God too after all Psalms 104:14 says God causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, and HERB for the service of MAN He did not include alcohol yet a drank is ok but it is not ok to be a DRUNKARD.
