To Michael 04.29.09 0637
What the FDA is telling us is that it's OK to drink the orange juice...you just can't touch the orange. The natural THC is just as legal as Marinol THC...its the "substance" in Controlled "Substance" Act...that's illegal. I have to go play with my Lincoln Logs now.

An important question is whether we continue a system in which all of the money flows to criminal drug cartels, or do we legalize and tax marijuana so the money can flow to the public treasury and the rebuilding of America? Mere decriminalization, while preventing the most egregious aspects of enforcement related to simple possession, would do nothing to reduce the gang violence and destruction of public lands caused by criminals operating outside of the prohibition laws; both would end if individuals could legally grow a few plants of their own at home.

As a generally conservative American, I would support a personal use and cultivation permit, for example $100 for twelve plants, with the revenue split between the Federal and State governments.

Let's let ordinary Americans grow a little marijuana in their own backyards and put the criminal cartels out of business.

As a previous comment noted, it's a good time to write our President and congressional leaders.

Not only does our Government hold a patent for medical marijuana they also provide it to 8 US Citizens (some up to 11 onces per month) for the treatment of their diseases. With this being the case, how in the hell can the government classify Cannabis as a Schedule I Substance?

The Government has to supply it to certain people, yet they turn around and continue to proclaim that there are no uses for treatment in the US?

Our fight should be for the Correct Classification of the plant!!!

1 to 3...shit or get off the pot.
Move it from schedule I to schedule III...where it belongs. If all fifty states were medicinal use states, it's still going to take the Federal Food & Drug Administration FDA to seat it in the right pew. Cannabis has currently accepted use and no potential for abuse. Having been re-classified as such, by law,
cannabis cannot remain a schedule I substance. Not only that, but it opens the doors to research funding, which has been restricted for all these years...so!...1 to 3...shit or get off the pot.

You see, it doesn't take a Presidential election to pass MJ reform Bills. Just hard work to get people to vote when they have a chance. Good luck Illinois, Minnesota, and New Hampshire!

Ok then, its partially a scam. Usually as a rule of thumb if mpp, norml, saferchoice, cnn, msnbc, local news, or any other media outlet didn't publish it then watch out. Always check your facts.

It is not a scam, although it did try to offer some unrelated service or something after pushing the pound (#) key, I recommend hanging up after it quits talking about legalization of marijuana. It wanted me to press nine (9) for some crap as a Cingular/AT&T customer, that is when I ended the call.
